Data Analyst interprets data, analyzes the results using statistical techniques and reports them to the management. He/She also develops databases and data collection systems, and implements data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical  efficiency and data quality.

  • Advanced Data Analytics: Interpret complex datasets and analyze results using advanced statistical techniques to provide actionable insights and strategic reporting for senior management.
  • Infrastructure & Pipeline Optimization: Design and maintain robust databases and data collection systems; implement automation strategies to enhance statistical efficiency, data integrity, and reporting quality.
  • Pattern Recognition & Forecasting: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large-scale financial datasets to predict credit risks, customer behavior, and market shifts.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with management and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize key business metrics and information needs.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) & Visualization: Develop, automate, and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to transition from static reporting to real-time data visualization.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging internal and external data to optimize lending operations, marketing ROI, and overall business growth.
  • Data Mining & Strategy: Execute deep-dive data mining across various databases to drive operational improvements and refine customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Data Enrichment: Enhance data collection procedures by integrating alternative data sources critical for building sophisticated credit scoring and analytical models.
  • Ad-hoc Insights: Perform rapid ad-hoc analysis to support urgent business queries, presenting findings in a clear, compelling manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.

     Experience & Education:

University Degree: Background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Relevant Experience: At least 1 years of experience as a Data Analyst (experience in credit organizations or banking is a strong plus).

    Technical Skills:

Data Management: Proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data models, database design, and data segmentation.

Statistical Tools: Hands-on experience with statistical software/languages (e.g., R, Python, or SAS).

BI & Visualization: Solid knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools to help automate and improve business processes.

Advanced MS Office: Excellent command of Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint.

Soft Skills:

Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of data with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Communication: Ability to present complex data findings in a clear and simple way.

     Languages:

Fluency in Armenian; good command of English and Russian (both written and spoken).
