On November 28, FINCA Armenia participated in the UN Women conference held in Yerevan, which was dedicated to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and inclusive economic growth. The event brought together more than 40 organizations from various sectors that have signed the WEPs commitment.

FINCA Armenia was represented at the conference by Chief Commercial Officer Vardan Haroyan and Head of Human Resources Management Armine Bibilyan.

The conference served as an important platform for strengthening cooperation between UN Women and the private sector, as well as for fostering dialogue on gender equality, equal opportunities, and inclusive economic development. One of the key sessions was a panel discussion on equal pay, during which Armine Bibilyan shared her practical experience, presenting the company’s internal policies and compliance mechanisms aimed at ensuring fair and equal compensation.

The event concluded with the official WEPs certificate awarding ceremony. Vardan Haroyan represented FINCA Armenia at the signing, reaffirming the company’s strong commitment to women’s economic empowerment and inclusive growth.
